So where did I get this? I just got off the phone with a friend who has had all the same symptoms since Monday. Oh...and did I mention we went out to dinner and to the theatre with her and her husband on Sunday? So at least I know where this plague originated and I won't have to blame any family members. Now I'm trying very hard not to breathe on Rick and spread the "joy" around.
My plans for the end of this week and all weekend have obviously changed. I guess I'll try and take it easy during the next few days. This shouldn't be a problem since the weather forecast here is for three successive rain storms beginning tonight and lasting into next Monday. I have a few errands to run today and then I'll come home, cuddle up on the sofa with my new plush throw and read the latest Sue Grafton book. Oh...and, of course, the box of tissues will be right by my side. Achoo!

Gesundheit!
ooohhhh poor thing. I hope you're feeling better soon. I so can't stand to be sick, but at least you know where this germ came from.
My friend's family has contracted strep throat and she figured out where it came from...she's NOT happy that her neighbor decided to "share" this gift. (the neighbor knew the kids were infected)
Remember to use lotion on your nose so that it doesn't get all red and hurty. Feel better soon!
Hope you are feeling well soon!
Chicken soup is good for those symptoms. Get well soon.
Oh no, you poor thing, not a very good way to start off a new year!! You are the third blogger that I visit that has this kind of cold...hmmm, is it being passed around in comments??? lol I do hope you soon start to feel better!! xox
Read, sleep, read, rest, get better soon.
Hope you get better, soon.
take some zinc.....daily, cold or no cold. it works, i also use zicam and it does make the symptoms less....of course a good ol shot of whiskey helps too with a little lemon
You have my undying sympathy on this one as I attempt to wrap up my own cold. I've been taking Mucinex for the past several days and that does seem to be making a big difference.
Don't skimp on the good tissue! Trust me on this one, my poor nose has been abused something fierce these past few days!
get better soon. stay in bed. lots of liquids, lots of good books, lots of sleep.
