Amazing Trick Golf Club...Not

Rick and I came home from our once-a-month Sunday golf lesson a little while ago and I just had to share the following two photos with you. They were shot with my brand new camera phone and I'm pretty proud of them.

No, he's not using a special golf club nor is it his incredible strength which is bending that club of his. Rather, it's amazing the kind of shots you can capture when your camera phone has such a slow shutter speed.

awwe shucks! You blew the mystery of it. You should have left us thinking that your hubby is so super strong that he can bend his golf clubs. he he

great shots though...now he can work on his form.

Great "trick" photography!

Nice legs, too!

I was too busy looking at the legs to notice the club!! LOL It still amazes me that cell phones can take pictures! lol xox

Wow, how did you get such great clarity? Amazing shots. Now I'll have to try it on my phone.

Cool pictures. You are a great photographer.

Excellent shots!

Now that you have mastered the cell phone camera I expect to see some pictures from you stalking people at the mall or your local box store!

As it turned out yesterday, Amanda had our digital camera in her backpack with her but she didn't tell me about it and I could have taken much better pictures. When I asked her why she didn't tell me she said that would have been worse than me chasing the woman with my camera phone! I said it would have made it easier because I could have used the zoom and not had to get so close! Kids - they just don't have this 'stalking' stuff down!

great pictures. Better golf swing. Those "lessons" seem to be doing great.

You must get Rick to take a picture of your golf swing and let everyone see you.

Susie: I think I'm pretty well done with this migraine thank goodness.

Empress bee: OK...point, press button. Yep, that's me...the techie one! :~)

Renee: He's been working on his form forever and ever.

Lynne: He's always prided himself on his legs. They come with the years he spent as a long distance runner.

Pea: I wish my legs looked as nice. And yes...camera phones have come a long way.

Lynn: If my cellphone can take these photos, then yours can too. Oh wait...that's probably because we have the same model phone. :~)

Mom: I wouldn't say "great"...maybe "OK."

Linda: I thought your photos were amazingly clear and sharp. Oh...does your cellphone camera have a zoom? I think mine does but I'll have to experiment with my "stalking" photos. :~)

Patti: I can't believe I spent years specifically buying cellphones without cameras. I must have been nuts!

The moose buyer: We must have been commenting at the same time. No way am I going to let Rick take a photo of my golf swing now that everyone has seen his gorgeous form.

Mmmm, nice legs!

Re your comment on my blog about not being able to take the "librarian" out of retired ones: somehow having info being found so easily on the internet doesn't give "the thrill of the chase" that you'd get with old fashioned reference tools.

Yep, camera phone are amazing, are they not? That's exactly why I will not leave home without it.. hehe... they can bring in some pretty spectacular shots (no pun intended- or maybe there was!)

Val:; I definitely agree that the Internet has taken some of the fun out of playing information detective!

Michele: You're so clever...I just love puns!

LOL! re: the litter. My camp potty is just a seat on a metal stand w/ a bag attached to catch everything. My litter idea is to put a scoop or so of litter in the bag to absorb and to mask odors. I don't think we'll be using it for anything we need to bury, unless the campsite potties are really really bad.

Great shot! These new cameras are just so much fun and can do so many things. Now I too want to see YOUR golf swing. No worry about my opinion as I can't hit a ball if I tried!

Rick has to patent this club, I mean that of the golfing guys, many would sell their souls just to have the prettiest tee shots in the presence of their peers...

Joan said...

Renee: Got it! Can't wait to hear how it goes...oh dear, that was a really bad pun.

Midlife mom: I've been told I have a nice golf swing but, if so, then how come the ball keeps heading in the wrong direction? :~)

Ralph: Rick was pretty amazed to see the photos of his "new bendable club." If only he really had one... :~D

i think the shot is pretty spiffy...you could have fooled me. glad the migrane is gone and you got some good shopping in before it really hit.

I keep finding that my phone turns itself on to camera mode while it's in my purse. I now have tons of pictures of the inside of my purse! Sometimes I even hear it clicking away while I'm walking through a store.

Your pictures are better than mine.

Glad you're feeling better, by the way.
