I've Lost My Mind...and My Bluetooth

What is wrong with me? I must have some terrible aversion to using a Bluetooth earpiece while driving or I truly am losing my mind.

Yesterday I was out and about at a shopping mall just killing time and enjoying their air conditioning. On my way home, I discovered that my Bluetooth earpiece was chirping which means that it needs to be charged. I distinctly remember taking it off and putting it into my purse. Honest!

Of course, I forgot to take it out of my purse when I get home to charge the darn thing. Then, late last night getting ready for bed, I had a vision of my Bluetooth so I opened my purse to get it out to charge overnight. No Bluetooth. I emptied every last item out onto the bed...still no Bluetooth. I went into the garage and tore the car apart looking for it...still no Bluetooth. Even Rick spent time searching the house, garage and car...still no Bluetooth.

So where is that damn thing??? My guess...it probably vaporized in the 90+ degree heat. Yep...that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

LOL! That's a pretty expensive vaporization! I hope you're able to find it. Perhaps it didn't go into your purse and might have gotten turned in to a lost & found.

I always loose things in my pockets though. :(

This technophobe is ashamed to ask, "What's a Bluetooth?" It can't be what I'm picturing in my mind - a big wide grin, with a baby blue tooth right in front.

Steve has "lost" two.....

Renee: I turned my pockets inside out and no earpiece...just fuzz. Sigh...

Betty: It's the annoying thingy that sticks in your ear and allows you to make hands-free cellphone calls while driving. It's mandatory here in California unless you can stand being cellphone-free while in the car.

Rosemary: The only good thing about this is Rick's already lost one, my sister ran over her brand new one and now I find out Steve's lost two. At least I know I'm in good company. :-)

Joan,

I learned something today. Since hubby always has my cellphone because of his job, I barely know how to use it. I'm glad you use the earpiece. I detest drivers who are texting and talking while driving. The earpiece is much safer and it is law in some areas, but not here in Ontario. I hope you're able to find it.

Blessings,
Mary

I've had things up and disappear like this from time to time myself - it's gremlins I tell ya!

I'm thinking that it's hiding with my glasses.

Maybe it's where my marbles are. I think I lost them yesterday.

Hope you found it by now, Joan.
