"Hi"...It's Me Again

How sad is this? Yesterday I took Mom to our HMO for yet another visit. After we were done, I drove up to the parking lot booth to pay (yes, our HMO charges for parking) and the parking attendant actually recognized me and let me through for free. Now I know I saved $1.00 but can you say I've made one too many trips there in the past few weeks?!?!?!?!

That's funny! All the cashiers at our local McDonald's and Chick-Fil-A know my husband - he's in there every morning for coffee.

It's nice when someone recognizes you and does a kind deed. Bless that cashier.

Have a terrific Tuesday.

I feel that way about grocery shopping. Too many trips. Isn't unexpected kindness great?

our local gas station people know me by name also. Unfortunately they don't give me a gasoline discount. Come to think of it, the local cigarette store doesn't offer a discount either!!!

yay discounts!

Joan, how are you and yours faring with the wildfires? I expected to see you writing about them

Hope all is well.

Shoot, even the dollar saved will not even buy you a drop at Starbucks...

They should give you your own parking space!

It's kind of like Cheers, where everybody knows your name... "JOAN!"

Pam, fortunately none of us are in the fire area. We are in the smoke area, however. There are so many fires, there is no way to escape the smoke.

It's worth remembering how such a little thing can make someone's day.

It's nice how a simple act of kindness can brighten one's day.
I'm not too encouraged to hear that your HMO charges for parking. Ours doesn't, but can it be far away if they're doing it in So. CA?
Hope you're in no danger from the fires..

That was sweet of him to let you through. I'm sorry you're having to make so many trips though.

That happens to us at the Vet's office...everyone knows us and I bet by now we have spent enough $$$ to build a wing onto the place.
