I Need to Repeat Pre-School

It's way too early to be awake today and I'm really bleary-eyed because I spent yesterday with two friends at Disneyland and didn't get home until late. And now this morning I'm on my way out the door to go to work. I have a committee assignment which requires me to use my computer at Library Headquarters but I wanted to share this little test, which someone sent Rick in an e-mail, before I left for the long drive. Are you ready?

A PRE-SCHOOL TEST FOR YOU

Which way is the bus below traveling...to the left or to the right?

Can't make up your mind? Look carefully at the picture again. Still don't know? Pre-schoolers all over the United States were shown this picture and asked the same question. 90% of the pre-schoolers gave this answer..."The bus is traveling to the left." When asked, "Why do you think the bus is traveling to the left?" They answered, "Because you can't see the door to get on the bus."

How do you feel now??? I know...me too.

Leave it to kids to figure stuff out! I was SURE it was going to the right.

It took me a minute (literally) to figure this one out, but I did. Evidently my mind has reverted back to the preschool level. Is that what comes with old age? sigh

Send me back to preschool!
I bet Disneyland was beautiful with all the Christmas decorations! Did you take pictures?

Kids are smarter than we give them credit for. Who would have thought to look for the door?

Please drop over to my blog and pick up the award there. Enjoy!

Blessings,
Mary

I cheated because I saw this before. Hey, us former Canadians need all the help we can get.

Hope you enjoyed Disneyland. I remember how wonderful the decorations are.

Sorry you have to work...NOT!!

I think I will ask T this question tomorrow when she is here! I kept looking and looking and trying to see if one side was darker then the other.....sigh....

You sure are brave to venture out on Black Friday! And to have so many places to go to!! We are lucky to have a couple malls and some strip malls without going two hours away where the good shopping is.

I'm glad you had such a nice Thanksgiving with your family. It is my favorite holiday of the year, so much more low key then Christmas.

Yes I will pass on that cruise too!! It sure looked cold in that ice filled water!!! Reminded me of the movie the Titanic for some reason.

Happy Belated Birthday to your little sister! She was such a cutie in that picture!!

Thanks for stopping by, I always love hearing from you!!

BTW are you reading the Jan Karon book?????

Look at that...send them to school and they actually learn something. Loved the sister post and shivered when i heard the news about the sinking cruise ship....and your pix captured it quite well.....yikes.

I feel like such an idiot! I am blaming it on the fact that I am very very tired.
