The Thinking Blogger Award

Michele at The Rocky Mountain Retreat has included my blog among five that have earned the Thinking Blogger Award. I feel so honored although, for the life of me, I can't imagine why she feels me worthy…my posts are generally a description of my very mundane life as opposed to any deep metaphysical ponderings. Oh well…

To pass this prestigious award on to other bloggers of note, I hereby honor the following “5 Blogs That Make Me Think:”

* A Tired Mama
* Are We There Yet
* Green Eggs and Pam
* Late Bloomer Boomer
* Meno’s Blog

Congratulations, you've won the:

Should you choose to participate, please make sure you pass this list of rules to the blogs you are tagging. I thought it would be appropriate to include them with the meme. The participation rules are simple:

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,
3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn't fit your blog).

Congratulations on this award, and i am very flattered that you put me on your list. It means a lot to me. Thank you.

A few weeks ago i did a post on my 5 bloggers that made me think. It was very hard to do. So i hope you will forgive me if i don't do it again.

Besides, i'm all worn out with mothering right now. :)

Joan, you deserve it! You're a lot interesting than you give yourself credit for and each day I come to your blog, it's always a treat. Congratulations!

Nice list. I will be looking into the three that are unfamiliar.

hey where did my comment go? It was right after Michele's...
technical difficulties I guess.

Joan, what I wrote was I agree with Michele. You have a great blog and you don't get yourself enough credit. You seem concerned about what you write.
Just let it all hang out. Take a lesson from your dear sister. She has no trouble letting it all hang out!
Thanks for the honor! I'll be getting to that when I have a bit more time.

Thank you very much - what an honor!

And I think you are more than deserving of this honor, I love coming over here to read your posts - especially the ones where you claim you don't have anything to write about! Those are some of your best!
